NewTopo has just published a new map of the Waitakere Ranges for the benefit of Aucklanders.

At 1:25 000 it is the largest scale yet published by NewTopo and includes several cartographic innovations.

A note on the map warns that at the time of publication (June 2024) many tracks are closed due to Kauri Dieback and storm damage. Users are recommended to consult the Auckland Council's website for the latest information.
