By chance, ITMB is also releasing the latest edition of one of the Maritime Provinces, New Brunswick. This fascinating region has a rich history, being home to the Breton people (from Brittany, in France), who called it Acadia. These Acadians were unjustly deported to French-controlled Louisiana Territory by the British, becoming known as Cajuns. Many eventually returned to Acadia, re-named New Brunswick during the American Revolutionary War, and now live in reasonable harmony with the tens of thousands of settlers moved by the British from the war zone during that period.
This is a very interesting province and highly popular during the summer months. The map size is 27" x 39" when unfolded, making it a comprehensive and practical tool for exploring New Brunswick and its surroundings.
