Turkey is a fascinating country, offering so much potential yet grappling with challenges in balancing progress and ideology. Touristically, the country is quite safe, but its internal politics reflect deep divisions—similar to Egypt and other Muslim countries—between secularists who aim for a 'normal' society with a separation of secular and religious affairs, and those advocating for a traditional religious society shaped by religious values.

Our first edition sold out in just over a year, which is remarkable in itself. To maintain its popularity, we have made major improvements to this edition:

• Enhanced Road Network: We have placed a stronger emphasis on the major road network, recognizing that most visitors stick to well-traveled routes around the country rather than venturing into back roads leading to small villages.
• Improved Font Size: The font size for major urban areas has been increased, making them easier to read and navigate.

Turkey is geographically vast, stretching east-west with relative shortness in the north-south direction. While cartographically challenging, we have prioritized detail—an essential feature for anyone driving around the country.
