Although the cover picture hasn’t changed, the London map has undergone an extensive revision, adding more hotels, pubs, and attractions. While it is not practical to show all such buildings on a map, we aim to achieve a representative sample.

Key Updates and Features:

• Tube (Underground) Lines: Re-drawn and emphasized for clarity.
• Rail Lines: Shown from their appropriate rail station outwards. While there is one north-south rail line through London and an east-west line under construction, these are excluded until the second line is completed.
• Overground Lines: Increasingly important for travel around London, these are included where appropriate.

South East England Map:

The big change on this map, and the reason for its new ISBN, is the enhanced and expanded map on the second side of South East England at a 1:300,000 scale. This is ideal for:

• Day trips out of London.
• Driving in the region.

Coverage:

• Western edge: Bath.
• Northern extreme: Northampton or Cambridge.
• Main roads in and out of London:
  • Motorways: Shown in blue.
  • A Roads: Shown in green (un-widened A roads in magenta).
  • Thousands of B Roads leading to charming villages and secondary towns.

Additional Highlights:

• Top Attractions List: Included on both sides of the map.
• Durability: Printed on high-density plastic paper for longevity and resistance to inclement weather.
