This map primarily represents the vast rain forest known as the Congo River Basin, aligning with ITMB's other complex maps such as the Amazon River Basin, Mekong, Mississippi/Missouri, Nile, and Mackenzie.

Road Network

A word of warning:

• The road network in the Congo is primitive — largely non-existent or in such poor condition that it can wreck army trucks.
• Roads have been classified by quality, but this remains a work in progress. Feedback is encouraged to improve this aspect of the map.
