The Baltic States are a treasure trove of history, architecture, and culture, as well as nature diversity. Estonia, a state occupied and ruined by the Soviet Union for five decades, has quickly become a well-developed country with its current membership in NATO, the European Union, the Schengen area, and the Eurozone.

About the Map

This title is a double-sided map combining our previously separate titles, Estonia and Tallinn.

• Estonia Map:

  • Originally created by Gizella Bassa, this map is very detailed at its scale of 1:385,000.
  • Updates:
    • The road network and border crossings have been updated to reflect Estonia's participation in the Schengen area.
    • More English names of places of interest have been added alongside the Estonian ones.
    • Expanded text information for visitors.

• Tallinn Map:

  • The street plan of Tallinn, at a scale of 1:6,000, covers most of this not-so-big city.
  • Highlights include:
    • Points of interest and local facilities.
    • Tram, bus, and rail routes, shown with line numbers and stops.
    • A separate diagram of Tallinn's tram, bus, and rail networks.

Special Features

• Tallinn's Old Town Enlargement:

  • At a scale of 1:4,000, this provides an extremely detailed plan of the Old Town, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for easy exploration on foot.
  • Includes an index of street names covering both the main map and the enlargement.

• Inset Map:

  • A small inset includes an overview map of Estonia at 1:2,000,000, showing the administrative boundaries of the country's municipalities along with the major road network.
