The Carlyle 12″ Illuminated Raised Relief Desktop Antique Ocean World Globe is the only antique style desktop globe to feature both raised relief and illumination.
This beautiful tabletop globe stands 16” tall.  The 12” diameter globe ball features a beautiful antique/parchment toned ocean with pastel land masses. The map legend and icons complement the globe coloring.
The raised relief on the globe surface reveals the earth’s major mountain ranges in 3D. When illuminated, additional features appear, such as the routes of expeditions led by noted explorers. When illuminated, you can view ocean floor features such as mid ocean trenches, seamounts, basins and ridges.
The Carlyle globe is held by a square base with walnut veneer and an antique powder coated diecast semi-meridian.
