Canada ITMB

This is our second step at mapping the second largest country on earth, and we decided that a fresh approach was needed. Canada is too large to map in the same way that normal-sized countries can be portrayed, so we have prepared:

Side 1: Political Map

• A political map of the country with each province or territory designated by a different colour.
• Includes the road and rail network.
• Highlights the vastness of Canada:
  • Nunavut is four times larger than Europe.
  • At least three provinces are each larger than all of Europe combined.
• Imagine spending six days and seven nights on a train just traveling from Toronto to Vancouver.
• Prepared by the Canada Map Office, ensuring very accurate details.
• Available in English and French.

Side 2: Innovative Inset Maps

On the other side, we have become innovative by including 10 large inset maps of noteworthy parts of the country, such as:

• Rocky Mountains and Yukon with expanded coverage.
• Newfoundland.
• The Toronto region.
• Southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
• The Ottawa to Montreal to Quebec City portion of central Canada.

This side portrays the most important segments for tourism, complementing the full country map.

Durability

• The map is printed on very durable paper, ensuring long-lasting usage.
